Hi, I have a doubt about JAVA Database Application.
I have 3 table s Scholl, People, Class and I must create a form for each =
one using CRUD.
So, When I did my JAVA Database Application it just allowed me to select =
one table (or more if the table has a foreign key). How can I do a CRUD =
for the three tables on the same project?
I tried to find like "DataBaseForm" so as to include a CRUD form on the =
project but there isn=B4t.
Is there anyway so as to have all the CRUDs on the same project?

Jacques,

What kind of a data base backend are you using?

Before you read on, understand that I develop my SQL application s by hand,
do not use bindings and handle *everything* through code ...

You should be able to create a form for each of your tables, whether or not
the tables are related in the database, as you can enforce relationships vi=
a
code using the SQL APIs (JAVA.sql.* or your database providers APIs, like
mysql-connector-JAVA-*-bin.jar, for example). What I do is create a class
that represents each table (complete with getters/setters for the fields,
SQL navigation, deletion, addition, etc. and a method to update the member
fields of the class with the data when the record gets changed). Then, I
create a form that is a visual representation of that database table with
text fields, labels, toolbars, etc. In the constructor of my form, I creat=
e
an instance of my class that represents the table data and just go from
there. If you need some examples, email me off-list and I will be more than
happy to zip up some of my source code and send to you so that you can see
what I'm talking about. If you *do* email me off-list for examples, please
let me know what OS you are running so that I send a compressed file that
you can read.

Cheers,
