I have installed 5.5.1 and 6.0 on my mac book pro under parallels (also on Mac
OS X) I am having trouble with what seems to be a
refresh problem. The
applications work fine on my dell (installed today) and I have uninstalled
everything on the problem machine, removed the old project directories and
re-installed 6.0 but it still behaves the same way. In 5.5.1 the scroll
problem only appeared in the Source
code area, when you scroll up the lines
duplicate.
*/
* FLogin.JAVA
* FLogin.JAVA

...
to the
bottom of the
screen a page
down / page up will clear the problem a
similar problem happens if using the scroll bar.
What is different in 6.0 that was not in 5.5.1 is that the project tab and
Navigator tab are also
subject to the problem. In the project Tab, with a
scroll I get...
Project Name
Source Packages
Source Packages
Source Packages
Source Packages
....
to the bottom of the window.
As I say I have uninstalled everything and done a clean install. I have
searched everywhere I can think of but cannot find a solution.
I hope someone can help.
Thanks

Yes, I removed the user
directory as well. That was where I started but

Did you also clear the userdirectory?

jdk1.5.0_14
This is on windows xp (running under parallels
virtual machine) The mac
install doesn't seem to have this problem, but I'm worried about switching
right now as I do not really have the time to make sure it does not cause
other problems ;)
Thanks for your help.

Okay, I do not know what I have done but the problem is gone. I have been
struggling with this since yesterday and for some unknown reason it has now
disappeared.
Thanks for your replies, I wish I knew what fixed it.

Hi James,
Did you
reboot the Mac, perhaps? That is a common problem solver with
Windows , but sometimes it works on the Mac, too.
You told us what
version of
JDK and NB were used under Windows. 'd
you share what version of OS X and Parallels you are using? That will
help others who look at this
thread later. Also, was Convergence on or off?
Thanks,
Travis
