I have installed 5.5.1 and 6.0 on my mac book pro under parallels (also on Mac
OS X) I am having trouble with what seems to be a refresh

Okay, I do not know what I have done but the problem is gone. I have been
struggling with this since yesterday and for some unknown reason it has now
disappeared.
